Our Team
Captain
Ann Pille
My name is Ann Pille and I am the captain of Mutrac for the 2018-2019 competition season. I am a U3 Bioresource Engineering student. This year, as the captain, I am heavily involved with sponsorship, fundraising and finances as well as the design of the tractor. I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with new challenges.
President
Connor Miller
I’m a U4 Bioresource Engineering student, and I’ve been with the tractor team for about 4 years now. As last years captain, my responsibilities this year are to assist younger members on the team in their designs as well as additionally give programming tutorials. MUTRAC is where I learned most of my designing skills and was given the opportunity to apply things that I had learned in class to a real-world situation.
VP - Design
Shamus McGuire
My name is Shamus McGuire and I am the current VP design. I am a U3 Bioresource engineer and this is my 4th year on Mutrac. As VP design I oversee the design and construction of the tractor. I also manage the subteams to keep everyone on track and working together.
VP - Communications
Chloe Wells
Hi! I am a U1 bioresource student and this is my first year on MUTRAC. I am the VP communications so I am in charge of our social media as well as our monthly newsletter, I am also currently working to help design a new ballast system. I feel as though I have been able to gain a lot of experience and practical knowledge from the team and am excited for everything else I have to learn!
VP - Sponsorship
Kaitlyn Courchesne
Environmental Biology Student with a specialization in Wildlife Biology. First year in MUTRAC and holds the VP Sponsorship position.
VP - Finance
Yang Yu
Hi! I am U1 bioresource engineering student and a first year Mutrac member. I am responsible for managing the expenses and income of Mutrac. Apart from the finance, I have learned so much at Mutrac since I joined. I am able to take part in designing the parts using Solidworks which will be useful in future engineering. The Mutrac team is passionate and responsible. It is incredibly rewarding to be a part of!
Secretary
Victoria Tseng Paepcke
Hey! I’m a 3rd-year Life Science student and this year’s VP Secretary! I joined the team in my first year because of my interest in tractors and tractor pulls. As Secretary, I’m in charge of recording the minutes during our weekly general meetings. Last year, I held the position of VP Finance where I presented weekly account updates at our general meetings and approved purchases. Mutrac has allowed me to both expand my knowledge and make friends outside of my program!
VP - Testing
Alexander Audi
Hi my name is Alexander Bechara Audi, I've been studying bioresource engineering for four years and I've been in mutrac since the beginning of my studies. I enjoy the team spirit and the fact our members get to work on different aspects of the club ranging from fundraising to hands on part manufacturing.
VP - Fundraising
Youssef Saeed
I am a U4 Bioresource Engineering student. In the previous years I have been on the electrical design team and the brakes design team. I would have also helped with other things like fundraising. However, this year seeing as I have enjoyed fundraising for the team I have decided to take on a VP position and applied for VP Fundraising. As VP Fundraising my job is to organize events for both fundraising and team exposure.
VP - Equipment
Jessy St-Amour
Salutations, I am in my first year of Bioresource Engineering, and I have always been interested in understanding the inner workings of machines. Through Mutrac, I have had the opportunity to use Solidworks, to learn the basic mechanics of an engine, to familiarize myself with the process of obtaining products from suppliers, and to weld. I have specifically been working on the armrest, hitch and frame of the Pullwinkle.
